Cafe Palanda – in the long term the most popular Burger Restaurant in the Czech Republic. It has been lead by the Executive Chef Stanislav Čepela and the Chef René Heindl,who first met working twenty years ago. Since 2008 PALANDA has gained a large number of fans. The restaurant regularly receives high rating of travellers’ sites all over the world.
In 2014 the restaurant became the winner of the poll of Hospodářské Noviny, “The Best Burger”. In the Gourmet Poll “The Mattoni Restaurant 2014” we got in the “Top 100 in CR” and the “Top 10 Chef”. 60,000 people voted in the poll. In the Pragmoon Top Burger 2014 we took 1st place.
The restauant is supplied several times a day and we only use cooled foods. Simply, we act in the way: “What is bought today,that is sold today”. The beef in our burgers and sandwiches comes from the traditional Czech Pied Cattle Breed.
We know the base of the taste lies all in the materials. That’s why we do not underestimate either the quality of the burger brioches. A Prague family bakery prepare them for us with love. Come and see they are really fabulous.
We import potatoes for our homemade fries from the Netherlands. Namely, there are not appropriate quality and quantity varieties to purchase on Czech market. Other vegetables we take overwhelmingly from honest Czech farmers.
